Randy Roberson is vice president, leadership development, at the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) in Washington, D.C., where he is responsible for the design, delivery, assessment, and regular improvement of NACUBO’s conferences and workshops and for launching new educational offerings. Roberson has been a member of the NACUBO staff since January 2011 and previously served as director, strategic initiatives, and in member engagement roles. Roberson worked from 2002-2011 at the University of Maryland, College Park, serving as an academic unit business officer and as a development officer. From 1997-2002, he worked at his alma mater, Oglethorpe University, in university advancement and the president’s office. He began his career as a press aide to Georgia Governor Zell Miller, creator of the HOPE Scholarship. Roberson graduated from Oglethorpe with a bachelor’s degree in history and completed his master’s degree in public management at the University of Maryland’s School of Public Policy. He is a member of the Oglethorpe University Board of Trustees.
