Ranch Kimball has served as Chairman of the Board of Wheelock College, as a Trustee at Boston University, as President and CEO of The Joslin Diabetes Center (one of the Harvard research hospitals), and Chairman of the Board of Immune Pharmaceuticals. In total, he has served on 16 for-profit and nonprofit Boards, chairing eight of them. He was Governor Mitt Romney's Secretary of Economic Development in Massachusetts. In his business career, he was co-founder and Managing Partner at Kissinger McLarty Capital Group, a private equity firm, and was a Partner at the Boston Consulting Group. In his personal life, he was a semi-professional athlete with 29 sponsors and several divisional and national wins.
