In May of 2019 Michael was appointed the Senior Vice President Administration, Finance, and Strategic Planning for Boston College High School. Prior to that for 11 years, Michael served as the Vice President of Administration and Finance/CFO for Lasell College as well as Lasell Village in Newton, Massachusetts. Dr. Hoyle served in several positions in Massachusetts state government, including as a budget analyst and as Associate Director of the MassJobs Council. Dr. Hoyle worked on a special re-engineering state government task force for former Governor William Weld in 1996. In 2006, Dr. Hoyle was appointed Vice President of Finance at McIntosh College in New Hampshire, a for-profit two year college. Four months later, Dr. Hoyle was appointed Interim President of McIntosh College. Dr. Hoyle was appointed President of McIntosh College in February 2007. In September of 2008 Dr. Hoyle was named Vice President of Administration and Finance for Lasell College in Newton, Massachusetts. Dr. Hoyle has taught as an adjunct instructor at Northeastern University and Wentworth Institute of Technology. In 2001 Governor Cellucci appointed Dr. Hoyle to the Board of Trustees of Roxbury Community College. In 2006 Governor Romney re-appointed Dr. Hoyle to a second term on the Board of Trustees of Roxbury Community College until 2008. Dr. Hoyle also served as a trustee of Shimer College in Chicago, IL until 2017 and currently serves as trustee of Project Step in Boston and a board member of LGBTQ President's in Higher Education.
