Matthew Schwenderman is a Principal within Deloitte Consulting LLP, providing consulting services targeted at improving enterprise performance management and analytics-based finance activities. He currently has national responsibility for Deloitte’s Performance Management Technology (PMT) practice and also serves as the technology lead for Deloitte’s Finance Transformation services. He previously was a member of the firms’ Consulting Principal and Director Candidacy Committee and held regional leadership roles in the Information Management and Finance Transformation practices.

Matt’s consulting experience in performance management includes finance and management reporting, financial consolidations, business intelligence, and scorecard and dashboard development. He has also served the office of the CFO in all areas of finance transformation, including finance function reengineering , M&A integration and organization design. He has a wide variety of client service experience, ranging from strategic business planning for regional cultural organizations to multi-year finance transformation and information management engagements for complex global organizations.

Prior to joining Deloitte Consulting, Matt was Senior Vice President for Business Affairs for one of Philadelphia’s largest cultural organizations. In this capacity he was responsible for all financial, administrative, personnel and information management functions. He also is a CPA and served as an auditor for a national public accounting firm.

Matt received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from LaSalle University, with a dual major in Accounting and Finance. He serves on his alma mater’s business school advisory board and was recognized by the Accounting Department with its Outstanding Alumni award for excellence in his profession. Matt has been a lecturer, presenter and moderator of various seminars dealing with financial and performance management, finance analytic systems, and business administration issues of both for-profit and cultural organizations.

Matt resides in Lafayette Hill, PA with his wife, Lisa, and three daughters, Julia, Maya and Emma.
