Margaret Tungseth is currently the Vice President for Finance and Administration at Hamline University in Saint Paul, MN. As VPFA, she is responsible for oversight of finance, accounting & treasury, facilities management, benefits administration, IT, and risk management. She received BAs in economics and political science from Concordia College, a BS in accounting from Minnesota State University-Moorhead, and her MBA from North Dakota State University. She also holds an active CPA license from the State of Minnesota. Ms. Tungseth served as president of the University Risk Management & Insurance Association during 2009-2010 and also served as treasurer of the Association for 9 years. She currently serves on the NACUBO Small Institutions Council. Outside interests include playing soccer, scuba diving, skiing, reading, and hiking.
