Craig Alexander is the Director of Legal Resources at the National Association of College and University Attorneys. Previously, Craig served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) for many years. Craig practiced as an independent consultant on business and investment projects after leaving HHMI in 2013 prior to joining NACUA. Before his work at HHMI, he served as an associate with two law firms. He also was a tax accountant with KPMG Peat Marwick before deciding to attend law school.
Craig earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Butler University and Juris Doctor from Georgetown University where he served as an Editor of The Georgetown Law Journal.
