In an era of tuition constraints and limited public funding, The Ohio State University has created a portfolio of innovative partnerships to provide additional support for its academic mission. From affinity relationships to sponsorships to large-scale public-private partnerships, Ohio State has developed a methodology to benefit students, faculty, and staff in ways both direct (through internships, career opportunities, and new programs) and indirect (through new resources that the university has invested in its mission). This presentation will highlight some of these relationships and the process the university has employed to pursue a broad portfolio that includes banking, insurance, apparel, parking, legal services, beverage pouring rights, energy management, and more. In all, these relationships have created hundreds of annual internships and more than $1 billion in new resources for Ohio State. Learn how to right-size the opportunities for your institution.

Learning Objectives
