Description

Will there be a Higher Education Act reauthorization this year? Is more Tax Cuts and Jobs Act guidance forthcoming? What else lies ahead on the legislative and regulatory landscape for higher education in the months ahead? NACUBO’s federal affairs team will offer observations and analyses of major legislative and regulatory changes, exploring both the challenges and opportunities ahead. As policymakers ask colleges to put more “skin in the game” and demand accountability, how can business officers make the case that new laws and regulations should neither make it costlier for an institution to provide a quality education nor create a disincentive for institutions to expand access to high-risk student populations?
