Intentionally aligning and coordinating planning, resource allocation, and assessment as part of an overall approach focused on driving success is essential during these challenging times. In this session, moderated by Kevin Kuhar, Larry Goldstein—author of NACUBO’s fifth edition of College and University Budgeting—will describe the critical elements needed to achieve alignment. Noel Sloan will explain Texas Tech’s utilization of Whitebirch’s financial modeling tools to help analyze and develop a differential tuition pricing model—the initial step toward using financial modeling to support institutional decision making. In addition, Jeremy Bass will share insights gained from assisting multiple institutions with financial modeling and related efforts.
