With over 25 years of experience at the FBI, John is the Supervisory Special Agent of the San Diego Division's National Security Cyber Squad. He is responsible for securing/educating/advising the San Diego Area Of Responsibility partners in securing their networks and data. Additionally, his goal is to further the FBI's mission of identifying, pursuing, and ultimately defeating the nation's cyber adversaries. Currently, John supervises a team of investigators, analysts, and scientists with the following responsibilities:

- Focus on Cyber National Security

- Responsible for growth of FBI's outreach efforts in the area of cyber crime

- Deliver cyber briefings to Board of Directors from several San Diego-based companies

- Engage private sector partners with security briefings

- Develop mission-focused strategy and goal(s) for FBI's cyber program
