NACUBO’s 50th Annual Meeting
Envisioning Tomorrow’s Higher Education Landscape
Update on the Annual Meeting (May 6, 2020)
The NACUBO 2020 Annual Meeting scheduled for July 11–14 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Washington, DC/National Harbor has been canceled.
After considering the status of the COVID-19 pandemic and the ability to host our event under Maryland’s restrictions on large gatherings, we made the difficult decision to cancel. Our top priority has been and continues to be the safety and well-being of our members, business partners, and staff. We greatly appreciate your patience, support, and understanding as we assessed this challenging environment.
Note the following important updates related to the cancellation of the NACUBO 2020 Annual Meeting:
- Full registration refunds will be automatically processed by NACUBO’s registrar in the form of your original payment within 60 business days.
- Contact your travel provider(s) to cancel your travel plans. NACUBO is unable to provide refunds for travel expenses.
- If you made a hotel reservation in the NACUBO block at the Gaylord National Resort, your reservation will automatically be canceled.
We know that you value the education and the opportunities to engage with your higher education colleagues. We are committed to providing professional development and networking through numerous online learning opportunities this year, including programming of some annual meeting content the week of July 13-17.
In the meantime, we encourage you to continue to review the advice and directives of public health officials and NACUBO’s coronavirus resources.
Please know that the thoughts and best wishes of the NACUBO staff are with you and your colleagues as we all navigate these uncertain times.
