Join your peers and industry partners for a day of fresh air and fun at Stonebrooke Golf Club. There are two activities to choose from this year, the Golf Scramble or the Women's Golf Clinic. Both are great opportunities to invite a colleague or client to "chip in". There is an additional fee to participate; transportation and meals are included. NACUBO Serving the Community

NACUBO Serving the Community

Participants will work alongside HandsOn Twin Cities, the U.S. Green Building Council and Washburn Elementary School to assist with the construction of an outdoor environmental learning center. Pre-registration is required (no onsite registration) and travel arrangements must be made to arrive in Minneapolis by Friday, July 28. Opening Event-Meet Us at the Mill

Meet Us at the Mill

Spend your Saturday evening enjoying food and drinks at the Mill City Museum for the opening event of the annual meeting. Located on the historic Mississippi River waterfront, the Mill City Museum has been built into the ruins of what was once the world’s largest flour mill. Attendees can view the former milling complex, which includes a rooftop deck and basement waterpower facility. Explore the complex to learn about the flour mill’s history and the largest and best-preserved water power facilities, and enjoy the rooftop deck overlooking the Mississippi River.

5k Fun Run

5k Fun Run

Early Tuesday morning, the truly dedicated of NACUBO are invited to participate in the NACUBO 5k at Loring Park, home to biking and walking paths that form part of the Grand Rounds National Scenic Byway. Participants can warmup with a short 10-minute walk from annual meeting hotels. Advance sign up is required.

Campus Tours

The opportunity for local institutions to showcase areas of innovation and sustainability practices has been a popular enhancement to the annual meeting experience. Colleges and universities have featured various campus components such as multi-use facilities, student housing, a dining hall, classroom space, and historical architecture. Two institutions will be highlighted in Minneapolis, space is limited, so sign up early!

4 Walls, a Soundboard and a Stage

Close out the NACUBO Annual Meeting at First Avenue, the epicenter of live music and entertainment in Minneapolis. Popularly known as the primary setting in the movie Purple Rain, this historic building has been the longest continual entertainment and music venue in the Twin Cities and one of the most well-known in the United States. The walls of First Avenue are filled with the names of famous performers who have graced its stage. Food, music and dancing – a night you don’t want to miss!
