NACUBO welcomes and encourages networking throughout the 2017 annual meeting. Connect with colleagues and clients outside scheduled conference events by hosting a function (e.g., team meeting, cocktail hour, affiliate roundtable/discussion) at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The deadline to submit meeting space request forms is June 1, 2017.

Space notifications will be sent to the main contact on the meeting request form via email by June 23, 2017.

Reserve Meeting Space

  • Organizations must be a 2017 annual meeting sponsor or exhibitor to host an event for conference attendees/clients.
  • Space requests must be made using the Meeting Space Request Form.
  • During official annual meeting functions, no organization is allowed to schedule functions that conflicts or overlaps with official and published meeting and event times.
  • Organizers of all non-official events that are held during the 2017 annual meeting are required to inform LaTosha McNeal, Manager of Business Development, in writing of the intended date and time of event at least 30 days prior to the event. If these scheduled times do not fall into NACUBO guidelines, the organizer will be notified to change their times/dates accordingly.

Reserve Meeting Pods

  • Options for meeting pods in the exhibit hall:
    • Two 20x20 meeting pods set in hollow square
    • One 20x20 meeting pod set in 4 rounds of 4
    • Three 10x10 meeting pods set 1 round of 4
  • Pods can be reserved online ONLY on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Pods will not be available before 7:00 am.
  • Pods will be equiped with table(s), chairs, etc. and one electrical outlet. Any additional item(s) must be provided, ordered and paid for by the requester (items could include food and beverage, A/V, etc.).
  • Meeting pods may not be used for storage. Neither NACUBO, the Minneapolis Convention Center, GES or any of NACUBO's annual meeting contractors shall be responsible for any missing items left in the pod.
