Description

Diversity and inclusion (D&I) in higher education and corporate environments has evolved from being “the right thing to do,” to enhancing return on investment and return on mission. In this session, returning and new panelists will build upon the D&I conversation started at the NACUBO 2017 Annual meeting. Learn more about evidence showing how D&I practices and an enhanced cultural intelligence predict positive, productive key outcomes.

Learning Objectives

  • Review the benefits of diversity and inclusion principles and practices within the higher education environment, including how D&I practices enhance the cultural IQ of individuals and groups.
  • Create open and inclusive environments and improve the civility of dialogue to help individuals and groups address complex social and cultural issues.
  • Gain real-life best practices and insights to take back to your own campus to improve student and employee engagement and performance.
