Description

Recent demographic shifts and economic turmoil have highlighted the challenges of both recruiting and retaining a more diverse student body. The speakers—from two distinctively different institutions—will demonstrate the use of predictive modeling techniques and tracking software to continuously improve student performance and retention.

Learning Objectives

  • Explore ways in which predictive modeling techniques can aid in student retention.
  • Discuss how tracking software can improve both student performance and retention, including identifying risk factors upon admission and monitoring academic progress throughout enrollment.
  • See how different institutions have implemented data analytics initiatives and adjusted them to fit their campus populations.
