Continual budget cuts make it imperative to think strategically and mobilize staff to ensure financial and operational success. This presentation will highlight a model that allows employees to impact their unit’s performance and clearly see how they contribute to the organization’s success. Using one business unit as a case study, presenters will show how to positively engage managers and staff in creating meaningful financials and scorecards that identify improvement opportunities, train and involve them in using lean Six Sigma skills to impact real change, and then have them use the operational scorecards to monitor improvements.

Learning Objectives

  • Work with managers to create operational scorecards that reflect key financial information.
  • Use operational scorecards to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Help managers and staff develop initiatives that impact key financial and operating indicators.
  • Engage leadership to provide vision and support for performance improvement.
