Description

No longer just a line item expense, technology has become a key strategic tool for transformative change and an institutional advantage in a competitive environment. Similarly, the role of the CBO has changed from focusing solely on institutional financial health to being responsible for various operational strategies, including that of IT. This session will explore the tools that today’s CBOs need to navigate change, work closely with IT to translate technical needs into a unified vision, and build the broad consensus needed to execute the vision. The speaker will discuss how to translate the institution’s technological needs into measurable objectives and a strategic roadmap, establish a common IT language, identify investment priorities, and structure the means of IT assessments.

Learning Objectives

  • Review current leadership challenges, strategies, and tools.
  • Translate the often complex language of IT into actionable strategies.
  • Build trust and communication with key stakeholders.
