Description

Does the “I” component of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) get enough focus on campuses today? How might institutions think differently about creating environments that foster inclusion for students and faculty? In view of the continually changing landscape, the speakers will discuss how diversity has evolved from “the right thing to do” and how inclusion now enhances bottom-line performance. They will also compare and contrast D&I efforts in academia with those in the corporate workplace to highlight leading practices for both fields.

Learning Objectives

  • Comprehend the meaning of “diversity and inclusion” and its current impact on higher education.
  • Learn how four different institutions are working to ensure diversity across their campuses.
  • Apply real-life best practices and insights at your own campus.
