Silas joined Cal Poly in 2007 and as been a change agent and leader at the University. His early career was a mix of public, governmental, and non-profit accounting. He now leads Facilities Customer and Business Services department fort the Facilities Management and Development organization at Cal Poly. A key responsibility is the management of budget for major and minor capital projects, operational budget for maintenance, Utilities, Energy, and Sustainability, Facilities Planning, and Environmental Health and Saftey. Silas is passionate about creating a work environment where his team is engaged and can contribute the overall success of Cal Poly and the CSU System.
