Robert Alexander serves as Vice President for Enrollment and Communications at Millsaps College. Prior to arriving at Millsaps, Alexander led enrollment efforts at University of the Pacific. Alexander led the university's enrollment efforts, coordinating the offices of admission, financial aid, and the registrar. Previously, Alexander served as assistant vice president for enrollment management and adjunct professor of Business at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, managing enrollment efforts immediately following Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Together with a team of dedicated administrators, Alexander worked to recruit and retain students, and Tulane's enrollment quickly surpassed pre-Katrina levels of quality and quantity. Alexander earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Tulane University and an MBA in marketing and management from Tulane's A.B. Freeman School of Business. He later received his doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania, conducting dissertation research focused on higher education leadership and governance.
