Randy Roberson is director, strategic initiatives, at the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) in Washington, D.C., where he provides strategic direction, program development expertise, and implementation support for key organizational initiatives. Roberson has been a member of the NACUBO staff since January 2011 and previously served as director, member engagement, and director, constituent programs. Roberson worked from 2002-2011 at the University of Maryland, College Park, most recently as a development officer. From 1997-2002, he worked at his alma mater, Oglethorpe University, in various administrative roles, including assistant to the president. He began his career as a press aide to Georgia Governor Zell Miller, creator of the HOPE Scholarship. Roberson graduated from Oglethorpe with a bachelor’s degree in history and a minor in music. He completed his master’s degree in public management at the University of Maryland’s School of Public Policy.
