Kent John Chabotar has forty years of experience as a higher education faculty member, administrator, consultant, and speaker. Kent is currently President Emeritus and Professor of Political Science at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. His specialty is assisting colleges and universities to use strategic priorities to work toward the restoration of financial equilibrium and coaching leaders to that end. His professional experience includes the Faculty of Education at Harvard, Vice President for Finance and Administration at Bowdoin College, Associate Professor of Management at the University of Massachusetts, and over thirty years teaching finance at the Harvard Institutes for Higher Education. He received the Distinguished Educator Award for teaching excellence at Michigan State University and the Fussa Teaching Award at Harvard. He earned his M.P.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Public Administration at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University.
