Erin S. Gore is an executive vice president and national head of the Education & Nonprofi t Banking (ENB) segment of Wells Fargo Government & Institutional Banking (GIB). Erin drives strategy for the teams working with the largest universities and nonprofits nationally.

Before joining Wells Fargo in 2013, Erin served as the chief financial officer of University of California, Berkeley. In 2016, she was named by San Francisco Business Times as one of the “Most Influential Women in the Bay Area” and in 2012, she was also named among the top “40 Under 401” Bay Area leaders by the San Francisco Business Times. She began her career with the New York City Council Finance Division in1996, as a budget analyst, and then spent four years with Moody’s Investor Services as a public finance analyst and committee member. Erin joined the former Banc of America Securities

in 2001, rising to co-head and managing director of its public finance education and nonprofit investment banking team.

Erin earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a master’s degree from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs.

Erin is a commissioner for WASC Senior College and University Commission. She serves to promote the development of higher education, and is responsible for ensuring and improving the quality and effectiveness of 170 colleges and universities that offer the B.A. degree in the western region, California, Hawaii, Guam, the Pacific Basin, and several international locations.
