Dorothy A. Hauver joined the College of the Holy Cross as Director of Finance in 2011, and was promoted to Vice President for Administration and Finance in 2015. Dottie is responsible for leadership in and oversight of the areas of finance, accounting, investments, planning, budget, administration, human resources, auxiliary services, facilities, public safety, information technology, risk management and Title IX compliance. As a member of the President's Executive Team and Cabinet, she serves as a leader in advancing the mission of the college, integrating strategic planning with financial policy and decisions, and also works closely with the Board of Trustees. Dottie is chiefly responsible for stewardship of the College’s physical, human, and financial assets. In her role, Dottie is also uniquely situated to advise the President and the Board on matters pertaining to the overall direction and plans of the College and resource allocation decisions that span multiple divisions within the College. Before joining Holy Cross, Dottie spent 19 years at KPMG LLP in Boston most recently as a senior manager in the healthcare and higher education audit practice. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Massachusetts.
